Public holidays in between

Choose a country to list its public holidays in this span.

Holiday lists come from official government sources and cover 2026 to 2028; outside those years only weekends are skipped. The facts above use your device’s time zone and move on at your midnight.

Which weekday 30 days later falls on

30 days is 4 weeks and 2 days. The whole weeks bring you back to the starting weekday and the remaining 2 days move you 2 weekdays on: 30 days from a Monday is a Wednesday.

Depending on the start day, the span holds between 20 and 22 weekdays (Monday to Friday) and 8 to 10 weekend days. Counting forward from Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays gives the most weekdays.

The row for today’s weekday is marked. Public holidays do not change the calendar count; they only reduce the working days.

30 days in weeks, months and years

30 days and 1 month are not the same thing, although they can coincide. 1 month can be anything from 28 to 31 days, depending on the months crossed. From January 29, 2027, 1 month later is exactly 30 days later (February 28, 2027); from January 1, 2027, 1 month later is February 1, 2027, 31 days. If a contract or notice says 30 days, count days; if it says 1 month, use the calendar date.

A 29 February only matters if it falls inside the span, and then it is simply one more day in the count: 30 days after February 1, 2028 is March 2, 2028, but 30 days after February 1, 2027, with no leap day on the way, is March 3, 2027.

Invoices marked “net 30” are due 30 days after the invoice date, so an invoice dated today is due on the date above. Some businesses count from the delivery date or the end of the month instead (“net 30 EOM”), which gives a later date.

How the count works

Today is day 0 and tomorrow is day 1, so 30 days from today is reached by stepping forward one calendar day 30 times, weekends and holidays included. If you count today as day 1, day 30 is Wednesday, December 2, 2026, one day earlier. The hub explains exclusive and inclusive counting, and the court rule that counts the same way.
